For this very reason treatment for acne is actively sought after by most people, particularly the younger lot. If proper treatment for acne is not taken then it can result in terrible blemishes and scarring and this in turn can seriously affect a person’s confidence.  There are a large number of medicines and creams available in the market for this menace but it is always good to opt for natural home remedies for acne.

Following are some easy to follow home remedies for curing acne:
  • Acne can include blackheads, sebaceous cysts and pimples. The area’s most commonly affected by acne include the cheeks, chin, forehead, chest and back. One of the primary causes for acne can be wrong eating habits. People who tend to consume large proportions of oily, fried and fatty food items or food items with high sugar content tend to have acne. Likewise constipation can also result in acne. Other reasons for acne can be excessive intake of tea, coffee, tobacco, alcohol and lack of exercise. A proper balanced diet that includes healthy intake of fresh fruits, vegetables and drinking plenty of water can go a long way in handling this troublesome problem.
  • Vitamin and Zinc have been proven to be rather effective in dealing with the problem of acne. Niacin and Vitamin A along with Vitamin E can be incorporated to treat acne. Around 100 mg of niacin and 400 mg of Vitamin E can be taken daily for a period of around 15 days. However it is best to follow this treatment under the guidance of a skin doctor.
  • Among other home remedies for facial acne using orange peel has been deemed rather effective. Let the orange peel dry and then pound it on a stone. Mix this with water and apply this paste to the areas affected by acne. This is also among one of the most effective home remedies for acne blemishes. Another simple home remedy for acne is to apply lemon juice to the affected area. This is extremely beneficial since it helps in lightening the marks and blemishes.
  • Garlic is also extremely beneficial in curing acne. Rubbing a piece of raw garlic on the affected area can clear the skin and eating around two to three raw garlic seeds once every day for a month can help in purifying the blood and this in turn helps in cleansing of the system.
  • Fenugreek is also among the most beneficial natural home remedies for acne. Crush the fenugreek leaves to get a paste like consistency and then apply this on the affected area every night and wash it off in the morning with some warm water. This is a wonderful remedy to prevent a fresh outbreak of pimples and blackheads.
  • Take a teaspoon of coriander juice and mix this with a little bit of turmeric powder and apply this to the affected area. Let is remain for some time and then wash it off.
  • Cucumber juice can be wonderful for the skin since it can help in closing the pores and clearing the skin. You can also mix cucumber juice with some tomato juice and apply this to the face.
  • Detoxification and cleansing of the system can also prove to be a wonderful remedy for acne. Adopting a complete fruit diet for a week with meals comprising of fresh fruits and juices can be very effective in cleansing the body of all toxins. After the fruit diet the individual can slowly incorporate a regular healthy and balanced diet.
  • Hot Epsom salt baths have also proven to be effective in dealing with the problem of acne. For preparing this bath you can add around 1 ½ kg of Epsom salt to around 60 litres of water. Let the water have a temperature of around 37.8° C. The person should remain in the bath for about 25 to 35 minutes and he should sweat freely. Gradual cooling off can be done after the bath.
  • Aloe Vera is also very effective in handling acne problems and also in healing of skin that has suffered blemishes and excessive scarring. Another popular home remedy for acne is applying a mixture of cinnamon powder and honey.
  • You can also mix some yogurt with fine oatmeal to get a paste like consistency and apply the same to the affected area and wash it off once it dries. Among other effective home remedies for acne is using a face pack consisting of strawberry or blackberry leaves and 50 gm of raspberry boiled in 1.5 liters of water for a period of around 3 minutes. This will give you a smooth and blemish free skin.
  • Drinking wheat grass juice every day is also beneficial to effectively handle acne problems. One of the most effective home remedies for facial acne is mixing rose water and lime juice in equal proportions and applying the same on the affected area. Let this remain on the affected area for around 30 minutes and then wash it off.
  • Other home remedies for acne include using avocado paste on the affected area. Mix the paste with water and apply it to the acne. You can also grind bay leaves and blanch them in the water and apply this to the face and particularly the areas affected by acne. You can also use another effective treatment for acne and blemishes. For this you can blend together a peeled apple with half cucumber, one tablespoon of yogurt and one tablespoon of honey. Apply this mixture on the face and wash it off with warm water in around 20 minutes.

I think cucumber juice is very effective in treating acne also try to put some toothpaste on your acne before going to sleep, it reduces the size of it
