Porcupine Meatballs

Porcupine meatballs recipe is a unique recipe in itself and is most suit to surprise anyone for whom you are making it.
Recipe Ingredients
  • Ground beef (1 lb)
  • Uncooked rice (1/2 cup)
  • ¼ Chopped onion 
  • White bread (1/2 slice)
  • Tomato soup (1 can)
  • Salt and seasoning salt (as per taste)
Recipe Preparation
  • Take the slice of bread and add around ½ cup water. Add the meat, onion, rice and seasoning. Form this mixture into small meatballs an4d place these into a fry pan.
  • Put the tomato soup in the pan and add 1 can of water and mix this well together.
  • Now place the cover on the pan and let this cook on medium heat. The tomato juice should lightly boil and the rice should pop out like a porcupine.
  • While cooking this dish you may alternately place the meatballs and gravy in a heavy pan and put this in an oven at 350° so that the rice pops out.
