Crockpot Meatballs

Recipe Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb Italian sausage
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper
Recipe Preparation
  • Take a bowl and in this mix together the eggs and milk. Add the beef and Italian sausage to it. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix this well.
  • Shape the mixture into balls (1 inch) and place these on a cookie sheet that is greased. Bake these balls at around 350° F for around 15 minutes and then add these to the Crockpot.
For the sauce
  • Tomato sauce (15 oz can)
  • Tomato paste (6 oz can)
  • 1 Chopped onion (small)
  • Green pepper (1/2 Cup)
  • Beef broth (1/2 Cup)
  • Water (1/3 cup)
  • 2 Garlic cloves (minced)
  • Oregano (1 teaspoon)
  • Salt (1 teaspoon)
  • Sugar (1 teaspoon)
  • Pepper (1/2 teaspoon)
Sauce Recipe Preparation
  • In a bowl mix all the ingredients together and then pour this mixture on the meatballs in the Crockpot.
  • Cover it and let it cook on a low flame for 4 to 5 hours.
