Recipe Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1/2 lb Italian sausage
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs
2 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper
Recipe Preparation
Take a bowl and in this mix together the eggs and milk. Add the beef and Italian sausage to it. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix this well.
Shape the mixture into balls (1 inch) and place these on a cookie sheet that is greased. Bake these balls at around 350° F for around 15 minutes and then add these to the Crockpot.
For the sauce
Tomato sauce (15 oz can)
Tomato paste (6 oz can)
1 Chopped onion (small)
Green pepper (1/2 Cup)
Beef broth (1/2 Cup)
Water (1/3 cup)
2 Garlic cloves (minced)
Oregano (1 teaspoon)
Salt (1 teaspoon)
Sugar (1 teaspoon)
Pepper (1/2 teaspoon)
Sauce Recipe Preparation
In a bowl mix all the ingredients together and then pour this mixture on the meatballs in the Crockpot.
Cover it and let it cook on a low flame for 4 to 5 hours.
