Held in late September and running into early October, Oktoberfest is a festival that goes on for 16 days. This festival is the world's largest fair and is celebrated each year in Munich, Bavaria and Germany. The festival started as a celebration for marriage of Crown Prince Ludwig to Princess Therese on October 12, 1810.
