It is never easy that someone dumps you or just breaks away from you. We have anger in our hearts but still we can never do any harm to that person - just because we may be still loving that person - just may be! It is quite imperative that at some point of time, we need to move on, move on with our life. Holding the relationship after a serious break up would do you know good, it will only keep hurting and continue giving pain. Agreed, it is tough to just let go the memories and healing does take time, but you need to start somewhere, it is very necessary for your life and for you! So how to actually get over a break up" Is there a way, a solution" Honestly, I don't know whether this will help you, but when a similar situation occurred in my life, the things which I will outline below did actually help me, I hope it does the same for you.
- First and foremost, stop thinking about that person, sticking to the memories will only hurt you. Don't worry the memories won't get erased, just don't think about them at this point of time
- Cry! Cry! Cry! Yes, close the door and cry as much as you can. It helps you to be easy, just don't be plain serious, cry and let out the pain.
- Take a lot of sleep, sleeping ensures that your brain gets adequate rest and it doesn't keep thinking about that person.
- Talk to as many friends as you can. Just call them and say hi or whatever. Don't talk to them about the break up, instead talk about everything that your friend(s) would like to hear. Believe me, no one wants to really listen to a crap break up story.
- Go out of the shed. Move out of your house, socialize, party, shop, do anything .. spend as much time as you possibly could - outside your house.
- Don't drink! Don't smoke! Drinking would tease the memories and smoking would affect your lungs badly. Instead why not do the reverse" Exercise, work out, improve your body, be on a good diet and do all those things that would get you in shape.
- Why not engage in learning yoga or meditation" It will help to improve your concentration levels and make you feel better.
- Watch a lot of movies and listen to music (not romantic, cough!)
- Play video games - best break up buster! (5 stars rating from me)
- Take the photo of the person who broke with you, carefully cut them into a million pieces and flush it through your toilet. Ah! what a relief!
- Put on your music player, put on the best dance track you love and dance like crazy, just enjoy every bit of it!
- Engage yourself in work and better yourself at it. Working hard would slowly and steadily take care of the time factor.
